This time spent abroad has motivated us to rethink our contributions to the agriculture movement, and we are in the process of completely re-envisioning the Amyitis project. San Francisco was bathing in warm, bright sunshine this past Sunday, and the club took full advantage of the afternoon with a big batch of acrylic paints. Our community bed at Kezar Gardens is looking quite snazzy, and we learned that our members have some serious artistic skills! Here are some images of the group in action, adding flair to our space. Thanks to Karen and Felipe for providing the pictures! Our box was lovely before, but needed a little more pizzazz.

I thought a good place to start would be to profile each of these trees, and how it could - and should -. The first of these is honey locust, Gleditsia triacanthos. Honey locust is native from New York to Nebraska, and from Louisiana to Minnesota, and is adaptable well beyond that range.
